Day TWO: London
Hello all, Cole, Robbie, Andrew, Jaden, Noah, and Dante are members of the "Adams Family", and we are going to illustrate our time today in London! We first woke up and breakfast was exceptional. Then, luckily, we were comforted by our great tour guide, Fran. We first took the bus to pick up a new member to the squad, Stuart. He was a local tour guide who showed us unknown logistics of the city of London. One thing he told us was that the Big Ben tower was actually named the Elizabeth Tower, and the famous Big Ben is only the bell inside the clock. Stuart also showed us the Tower Bridge and explained how it was the largest bridge in London. We were then able to watch the changing of the guards at Buckingham palace. This was an unforgettable experience!
After our time in London for the day we spent the next couple hours walking around the city of Windsor. During our time in Windsor we went to Windsor Castle. The Windsor Castle is the biggest and oldest castle in the world, and we were able to explore over 18 unique royal rooms. Stuart, along with an audio guide, guided us around the castle until we went inside. When we were inside of the castle our wonderful tour guide Stuart was sadly not allowed to follow us. Nonetheless the inside of the castle was still an unforgettable experience to go through. We were able to see a myriad of old paintings that were each more beautiful than the last and the Queen Mary's old dollhouse. Each doll was so intricately designed and the dollhouse itself was constructed of incredibly created rooms. After this we went do dinner at an amazing asian restaurant. We were able to dine on some fine cuisine including noodles with chicken and prawns and vegetarian options as well.
